Open Source Government

President-Elect Barack Obama has launched a web site at The purpose of the site is to make the transition operation more transparent to the public, and to solicit opinions and ideas from the American people. Under "American Moment" you can either "Share your Vision" or "Share your Story."

I asked him for unequivocal clarification about homeschooling.

I asked him for transparency in government.

I asked him for involvement, for a team effort, for more to do.

I stopped short of asking for a pony.

What will you ask for?

  1. I want better protection for the environment and initiatives to stimulate alternative energy development.

    Peace and Laughter,

P.S. I sent back the material for your Book Bash 2 weeks ago. I hope you guys got it. Let me know if you haven't.

Wow! You are so purrrrrrfect! All Republicans suck and should just die. The whole nation should only be Democrats and then the USA would be perfect. Imagin :)

    Awesome post Thomas!

I agree, round up all of the Republicans and send them off to jail. Only Democrats should have the rights to be Americans. We kicked their buts on election day and now we will be giving them hell for the next 8 years. Yes that is what I want Republicans suffering.

    Dennis G.

  4. Wow, Thomas! Don't be so hard on yourself!

But do spell "imagine" with an E.

  5. Anonymous10:08 PM

I want all Christians put in jail.

  6. Anonymous10:16 PM

I want love and peace for our great nation; however, the only way to achieve that is by having more Democrats and less Republicans. Up with Democrats and down with Republicans. Democrats unite and make a Republican miserable!

  7. Anonymous10:34 PM

I look forward to the day when only Democrats run agains Democrats or a Socialist for the president of our wonderful nation. I love my freedom and will be sure to elect more Democrats.

  8. Democrats in Michigan have not always been favorable to home schooling...
I'm hoping they'll still allow it, next year without a bunch of hassle.
